Dogs and kids mimic each other when they are growing up together!
But what I am surprised about is, dogs also mimic the younger versions of their pawrents.
A story comes to mind!
As a kid, I often went under the bed, on the sofa, etc to play. That was my hideout and my favorite play area way into my teens. I usually sat under the bed while talking on the phone.
Whenever the phone went missing everyone in the house knew where to look for it!
One day while playing under the sofa, I got stuck!
My parents had to call help to pull me out!!!!
That’s how they realized I had grown up!
(They are still in denial tho)
Gemmy our very first family pup did the same thing! The first time we brought him home he was a tiny ball of fur! The first thing he did to introduce himself to the Gupte household was….
Make his way under the sofa!! That’s when we knew he was family!
Fast-forward to 35 years…
Sauli Gupte my (not so) little Malinois Princess, showed the same mannerisms!
She had her designated play area under the bed.
